Christians Speak out at the United Nations


Geneva, Switzerland, Friday, October 09, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Last week the Human Rights Council of the United Nations meeting finished with several new decisions taking place reaching from Palestine and Sudan problems. But a new and urgent issue of christians in Pakistan was highlighted to the International Community by an International Think Tank "International Club for Peace Research".

ICPR had invited from the ground of devastation in Faisalabad, Pakistan a group of young and affected christian victims Mr. Romail Sheraz Kenneth, Mr. Sohail Sajid, Mr. Gunivere David The group showed and explaned to the large number of NGOs, Diplomats, Local Christian Organizations and United Nations Officials about the ground reality which is much worst and no international help is allowed to come, and even case the local or the federal government of Pakistan is not helping the christians.

The Christians in Pakistan have no voting rights, food is not distributed in equality and christians are treated as a lowest minority possible. In the July 2009, about quarter a million christians were displaced from their houses, women raped, children killed and mob''s robbed the remaining houses.

Mr. Sohail Sajid Narrated and showed photos of muslim youth using innocent Christians as punching bags and throwing their bodies in sewer near by.

The 3 young christians also pleaded to the International Community for urgently intervening in this urgent issue and international help shall be made available in terms of food, security and proper housing. They also highlighted as after this event will any Christian be allowed to travel outside Pakistan to announce to the International Community the actual and ground situation.
