Tesco HSC India Appoints Dayanand Allapur as Head of Human Resources


New Delhi, Delhi, India, Friday, November 12, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- New Delhi, India - November 11, 2010 - Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (Tesco HSC), the global services arm for Tesco, world's third largest retailer, today announced the appointment of Dayanand Allapur as Head of Human Resources. In his role, he will be responsible for overseeing all of the Human Resource functions including Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Engagement and Learning & Development.

Dayanand brings with him over 20 years of a well-rounded global experience in Human Resources, having lived and worked in UK, Australia, USA and India. During these years, he has managed significant portfolios in Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Global Resource Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Change Management as well as Program Management of large initiatives. His last role before joining Tesco HSC was with Patni Americas Inc. as Vice President and Head of Human Resources, based out of Boston, USA.
