He further added, "IFFI provides great opportunities through Film Bazaar and this year we have also registered our participation in the same. Through this, Palador intends to explore local and international co-production projects and enter into joint productions starting next year"

About the participating films:

In the Mood for Love is a beautiful and evocative film set in Hong Kong of 1962. Chow, a newspaper editor, moves into a building with his wife, where Li-zhen, a beautiful secretary and her husband, have also moved in. With their spouses often away, Chow and Li-zhen cross each others path, and a discovery of common tastes begins. It is a stylistic masterpiece that evokes romantic longing.

Fallen Angels is a romantic thriller. A cold-blooded professional killer is tired of the risks and wants to quit. His agent, who has broken the professional code of no personal involvement, persuades him to do one last job. With fatal results.

Happy Together is about the trauma that lovers go through. Lovers who are happy together are all the same. Lovers whose relationships fall apart are all different, unique in the ways they inflict emotional torture on themselves and each other.

The director of the above three movies, Wong Kar Wai, is known for the strong visual magic in his films. He is a writer, director, producer and actor, and is credited with some very interesting and appealing scripts covering an array of genres from romantic comedy to action drama.

Floating Clouds is a 1955 Japanese film based on the novel of the same name by Japanese author and poet Fumiko Hayashi. Floating Clouds follows female protagonist Koda Yukiko, a Japanese woman just returned to Japan from French Indochina and her relationships with the men in her life.

Mikio Naruse was a Japanese film director, writer and producer. He directed some 89 films in about four decades spanning from the end of the silent era through the sixties.
