The Golden Kela Awards are All Set to Bring Out the Worst of Cinema Again!
After the Widespread, Earth-Shattering, Universal-Consciousness-Blowing Success of Last Year's Golden Kelas, they are BACK!

New Delhi, Delhi, India, Friday, February 19, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- India's Premier Awards for the Best-Made-Bad Films of Bollywood (widely acknowledged to be THE Indian Razzies) the Golden Kela Awards are ready now in their second year to put out another kela-tastic, filmi-delic, ham-ilicious award ceremony! After their successful debut last year, the Kelas are back with a 'fruitful' year of bad films and bad performances to award prizes too.

Jatin Varma, Editor of RANDOM magazine, is ready with a bigger and better show, 'We're expecting a much larger show than last year because of all the crappy films we've had, and also because of the special chief guest we have this time. In fact we're expecting such a large turnout, I'm going to book my ticket right away or else I might not even get to watch!'

The past year has been good for the Kelas, and the nominees include big names like Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Akshaye Kumar and even Shah Rukh 'King' Khan himself, and not-so-big names like Adhyayan Suman and Jackie Bhagnani.

This year's chief guest has been confirmed to be Cyrus Broacha, who had this to say, "This is a great honour, equal to the honour of Raja of Rubbish, bestowed on me many years ago by an esteemed colleague. I haven't slept in a week and visit the urinal every three hours., because of the unprecedental excitement. I have even requested Lalit Modi to postpone the I.P.L. launch in order to fit this in.Truth is I was coming to Delhi anyway for my cousin's wedding and since there were to be free food and snacks i decided to do the right thing and skip the wedding for the awards."

The ceremony will be held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on the 12th of March, 8 pm onwards. You can check out the nominees and vote for your (least) favorites on www.goldenkela.com.
