Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Thursday, September 02, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- Vikram Pandit, Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup, was named Global Business Leader of the Year by leading news organization NDTV Profit. The award, part of NDTV Profit's annual Business Leadership Awards, was announced at a ceremony presided over by Honourable Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee in Mumbai. Pramit Jhaveri, CEO, Citi India, accepted the Award on Mr. Pandit's behalf.
