Initiative Aims at Helping Students get on-the-spot Admissions into Premier Private B-Schools Across the Country

New Delhi, Delhi, India, Friday, May 21, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- Minglebox - India's leading Education and Career Network, is hosting an event MBA ADMISSIONS CONNECT exclusively for students registered on its website to facilitate their admissions to trendsetting private B-schools of the country. The first of its kind event is a 'by invite only' that will act like a forum for B Schools, counselors, students and parents to come face-to- face and arrive at a decision best suited for the student's future.

The event is scheduled for the 22nd and 23rd May 2010 at the Holiday Club, Panchsheel Enclave D block, New Delhi-17 and will give students a chance to meet representatives from over 50 B-Schools in an attempt to get on-the-spot admissions for about 1000 seats. Students can give a shot at getting into these B Schools irrespective of whether they have bought the admission forms of these colleges or not. Moreover, students can avail these benefits completely free of cost.

According to industry sources, 2009 saw around 2,50,000 B-school aspirants take the Common Admission Test (CAT). While a handful of them have managed to secure seats in prestigious institutes like the IIMs, the others still have significant options in form of premier private institutes. Minglebox MBA Admission Connect is aimed at making admissions into these institutes easier for students.

All students have to do is register their details on the 'Minglebox.com' site and bring in all the necessary documents for admissions to the venue. They would then be entitled to guidance from the Minglebox counselors, who will help them apply to B Schools based on their profile. To gauge their competency, students will have to appear for a small assessment, GD (group discussion) & PI (personal interview) before an admission offer is made to them.
