GOGOindia Launches G35- All India GPS Car Navigation System
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Tuesday, May 12, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- GOGOindia announces the launch of G35- all India GPS car navigation system. G35 is an out of the box solution for all your navigation needs. There is no need to install any complicated navigation software or e-maps. Everything one needs is pre-installed - plug-in and you are set to go. G35 also offers Bluetooth hands-free phone option for the car. Built-in FM transmitter can route phone calls or turn-by-turn driving directions to the car radio. It not only can be used as a navigation tool but also as means to providing entertainment. It supports playback for music, video, e-book and photo viewing.
The map dataset which comes pre-loaded in G35 includes 200+ detailed cities maps with 2 million Points of Interest (POI) and towns as points which are connected with a network of National and State Highway's as well as other main roads. Points of interest (POIs) are important landmarks marked such as Hospitals, ATM centers, Malls, Theaters & Hotels to name a few, which help in ease navigation to the specific destination even if streets are unnamed. The user will also get one free map update which would be released quarterly.
The G35 navigation software has an intuitive and smart key filtering to quickly narrow and lockdown to a destination. G35 gives the user three ways to search for its destination. 'Local Search' option will search in radius of 200 KM from user's current position. If the user wants to plan a route outside his/her city then they can opt for 'City Search'. In 'Street Search' option the user can search for main streets in any cities.
G35 is priced at M.R.P Rs 13,999 with no subscription fees or any other hidden costs and with extra inbuilt features such as Bluetooth, Hands-free calling & FM Transmitter; this has created a new price segment in the Indian navigation industry.
GOGOindia has appointed Brightpoint as its national distributor. Brightpoint through its various distribution sales channels will distribute GOGOindia's products. G35 is currently available in Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bangalore and Mumbai. For its online sales, GOGOindia has tied up with gagets.in and autsun.com.
GOGOindia has already setup hardware service centers in following locations: Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
