TripAdvisor Honors India's Top Hotels with 2010 Travellers' Choice Awards
Announces Top Ten Lists of Hotels Across Categories- Overall Top Ten, Bargain Hotels, Luxury Hotels, Best for Families and Best Service Hotels in India; Details of Worst Hotels in India Also Revealed
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Thursday, February 18, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- TripAdvisor, the world's largest and most popular travel community, today announced the winners of its 2010 Travelers' Choice awards. Unlike any other hotel honours in the world, TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice winners are based on the millions of real and unbiased reviews and opinions from travellers on TripAdvisor. Having seen significant growth in its Indian audience to almost 2 million monthly Indian visitors, TripAdvisor has announced the first edition of India specific Travellers Choice lists. The global awards feature 719 winning properties including 65 hotels from the India specific list which makes the eighth edition of the awards the largest ever seen by TripAdvisor.
Properties in India received awards in the following categories: Best Bargains, Best Luxury, Best for Families and Best Service. An overall list of top 25 hotels in the country and the worst ten hotels in India were also revealed.
