ACCMAN Institute of Management Celebrates INIZIO 2010


Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, Monday, August 23, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- INIZIO 2010, one of the largest students fests held in initial stages of an academic year in Delhi-NCR, was held in INIZIO 2010 at ACCMAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT on 21st August 2010. The fest was packed with academically energizing co-curricular and cultural events right in the beginning of the academic year and beginning of management education for the fresh batch students. Marked by the importance of an event like this in initial stages professional education, the event is named Inizio - an Italian word meaning 'the beginning'.

ACCMAN believes in integrating knowledge with practice and Inizio the grand fest was one of the many ways to do so. Extempore, Debate, Business Quiz, AdMad Show were mesmerizingly unlike any other since it was the 'industry through classroom' brought on the stage energizing young minds to apply the acquired knowledge innovatively in practical situations given by the organizers. The beauty of the show was that everything was on the stage and against time since in actual management world managers react to most situations in public and against time. The event had equal participation of students of all batches and programmes.

Giving away of Awards of Excellence to students of second year based on their overall performance in the first year was another attraction. The award was named 'Ram Piari, Joginder, Pritam Singh & Shanti Devi Memorial Award of Excellence'. Prof. (Dr.) Panjab Singh, Former Vice-Chancellor, BHU, the Chief Guest speaking at the occasion highlighted importance of humane approach towards environment and resources as managers for achieving sustainable development. Shri Aseem Chawla, Partner Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Sherof & Co. highlighted importance of being a human as a manager.

Grand Finale of Inizio-2010 was a sparkling clean Cultural Extravaganza filled with joy. It brought all parts of India together taking part in cultural events belonging to own area and area of others with equal enthusiasm. Almost all students were involved in one way or the other. It was a treat to the audience students invited to attend from other institutes in the area.
