New Delhi, Delhi, India, Thursday, September 24, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Aiming at digitalising education in India, CLASUS has for the first time launched 'Interactive Whiteboards' (IWB) in India. An Interactive Whiteboard is a large display that connects to a computer and projector. A projector projects the computer's desktop onto the board's surface, where users control the computer using a electronic pen. With its advent in India, CLASUS is planning to capture ten percent share in the next 3 years from 500 million euro potential India market. This target does not include the crank effect of taking into account the local market synergies, according to what Clasus has predicted in its approach.

The launch is marked by CLASUS' participating at the World Didac India 2009 currently being held at Pragati Maidan. Clasus Educational Solutions in India will be targeted primarily to the public educational sector, as well as to the private sector educational institutes and corporate houses, with different and focused offers. The launch of IWB is aimed at encouraging innovative and creative teaching methodologies, imparting digital skills in students and teachers fraternity. This is CLASUS' second association with India, as the company has been sponsoring the Indian driver Karun Chandhok's GP2 team, Ocean Racing Technology.

CLASUS IWBs use updated technology that overcomes all restrictions in use of former technologies like lack of precision, fragility and ergonomic inadequacy caused by other technologies. The product therefore assures maximum speed and precision, ensures highest robustness and stability, along with the freedom of use and the absolute pedagogical efficacy.

Children, adult and even physically challenged can work with the board in ideal conditions of comfort, safety and ergonomics.

Clasus will launch at World Didac new products with innovative and exclusive features. These features will be included in the A-MIGO MULTIFACE and A-MIGO MASTER products.
