The Global Communication Association (GCA) and Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) jointly invite academicians, policy makers, corporate executives, representatives from NGOs and research scholars to contribute papers on "Global Village - Are we there yet?". The papers will be presented during India Conference 2009, organized by The Global Communication Association in alliance with Public Relations Council of India from November 26-27, 2009 at The Lalit Ashok Hotel in Bangalore. The conference aims to provide a platform for researchers and scholars from the world to discuss topical issues related to globalization, Media and Technology.

A 400-word abstract of the paper should be sent as an email attachment latest by September 25, 2009. Acceptance notification is scheduled for September 25, 2009, last date for full length paper submission is October 15, 2009 and last date for registration is October 20, 2009. Conference inaugural will take place on November 26, 2009, Valedictory programme on November 27, 2009 and satellite symposium at Manipal is on November 28, 2009. The conference focuses on "Global Village -Are we there yet?" Advancement in digital communication has changed the world into a Global Village.
