Eagle Conferencing Introduces Value-Added Services in U.K. and Donates Conference Call Services to UK Charities
UK Charities will be Able to Run Audio Conferences with their Indian Partners Without Incurring International Call Charges

London, United Kingdom and Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Tuesday, September 15, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Eagle Conferencing (www.eagleconferencing.in) today launched their charitable donation scheme in the UK for conference calls. The scheme, managed by Charity Technology Exchange (CTX) www.ctxchange.org, enables UK charities to operate audio conferences with their partners in India without incurring international call charges.

The Eagle Conferencing donation provides organisations with access to an audio conference call service that supports calls for up to 25 participants. Participants can be in both the UK and India but will only incur domestic call charges. The conference chairperson has access to the full range of call management facilities of award-winning and the state-of-the-art conferencing services.

Kent Charugundla, founder and CEO of EagleNet Group, announced the launch of the programme explaining:

"We are delighted to be launching this programme in the UK to complement our existing donation programme managed by the NASSCOM Foundation in India. We believe that the close ties between many UK charities and India will make this programme extremely valuable to them. Communication is the life blood of any organisation and we are committed to helping UK charities reduce the cost and increase the effectiveness of their work with their Indian partners."

Rufina Fernandes, CEO, NASSCOM Foundation, commented:

"The conferencing solutions provided by Eagle have been instrumental in forming the communication backbone of our operations. Allowing us the bridge facility to communicate with various NGOs and other organizations supports our delivery structure which has contributed in our efforts towards strengthening our efforts towards social development in India."

William Hoyle, CEO of Charity Technology Trust, which runs CTX in partnership with TechSoup Global, commented:

"As part of a global network of organisations managing donation programmes for some of the world's leading technology companies, we are delighted to be working on a truly international donation programme that will not only provide benefits to UK charities, but will also help Indian organisations."
