About World Combat League
Each WCL team is comprised of six fighters (five men and one woman) who have mastery of one or more of three different disciplines: Kickboxing, Karate, and Tae Kwon Do. Each fighter also holds a spot in one of six predetermined weight classes so that any league team can compete on even ground against any other league team. There is no wrestling or grappling to slow down the action. WCL athletes use lightning fast combinations of boxing, bone crunching impact of kicks, along with devastating power of knee strikes, to knock out their opponent or score points that will accrue to a team victory. WCL contests combine the excitement of martial arts combat with the thrill of rooting for your favorite team. The goal is to provide sports fans with an unprecedented level of "full throttle" martial arts fighting action in every second of each round of every team contest.
The teams are divided into 2 divisions. West Conference and East Conference. The teams are as follows:
West Conference:-
-- Denver Fury
-- Los Angeles Stars
-- Oklahoma Sestroyers
-- Texas Dragons.
East Conference:-
-- St.Louis Enforcers
