Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, Thursday, January 29, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Astral Polytechnik Ltd. manufacturer of CPVC pipes & fitting announced their financial results for the quarter ended December, 2008.

Overview of Q-3 FY2008 v/s Q-3 FY2007

-- Company's sales from operations has increased by 29 %, to Rs.4,512 lacs for the Q-3 FY 2008 as against Rs.3,501 lacs in Q-3 FY 2007

-- EBDITA has increased to Rs. 683.23 Lacs as against Rs. 562.49 lacs last year in same quarter i.e increased by 21%

-- Net Profit has reduced to to Rs. 141.45 lacs mainly because of higher Interest Cost as company has just completed its expanded capacity from last year 11800 MT to 25968 MT And Forex loss to the tune of Rs.183.03 Lacs on the short term foreign currency loan

During the quarter company has commercially launched its new product range of SWR products and company foresee a sizeable topline from this product range as the capacity has completed recently.

Further inspite of recessionary trend in market company is able to maintain its growth of 29% on its existing product line and after the new range of product company foresee to maintain its growth momentum in coming quarters also.

Company has also successfully completed its second consignment of export to its JV company in Kenya.
