Star India Ties up with Random Magazine to take their Popular Characters to Print
Simpoo Singh & Lola Kutty Set to Captivate Magazine Readers
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, January 14, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Channel V licensed the iconic character Simpoo Singh & Lola Kutty to Random Magazine for publication. This would be first of its kind association where these popular characters would be seen in print version. Random has been bringing fresh humor to stands across the country since June 2008.
He has enthralled audiences with his unique speaking style and his unparalleled wit. And now he is set to entertain readers through a new medium. SS Sodhi a.k.a. Simpoo, Channel [v]'s most revered humor icon is all set to open his classroom in Random magazine from January 2009 through a series of columns that feature his best known qualities (his motivasson, dedicasson, voice with vibrasson, and so on) and his favorite students - Ramesss, Dinesss, Ms. Loveleen, Pankazz, and the rest of the Class! Helping Simpoo Sir will be Channel [v]'s very own Beauty on Duty, from Kerala Ms. Lola Kutty, who has taken time off from her busy schedule to allow herself to be featured in Random magazine.
