Unichem Total Income Grows by 15.7%


Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Saturday, October 16, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- The Board of Directors of Unichem Laboratories Ltd at their meeting held on October 16, 2010 approved the Second Quarter [Q2] for FY 2010-11.

The Company recorded a total income of Rs. 202.04 Crore for the quarter ended 30th September 2010 as against Rs. 174.65 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, showing an increase of 15.7%.

The Company recorded a Net Profit of Rs. 34.71 Crore as against Rs. 33.97 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The EPS for the quarter was Rs. 9.62 as against Rs. 9.42 for the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The Company has declared Interim Dividend for the F.Y. 2010-11 amounting to Rs. 1.20/- (60%) per share of Rs. 2/- each (post split face value). For the corresponding period in the previous financial year, the Company paid Interim Dividend of Rs. 3/- (60%) per share of Rs. 5/- each (pre split face value).
