Showcasing Nikon's Flagship Professional Camera: the D3X
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, January 07, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Nikon India, the 100% subsidiary of the imaging industry leader - Nikon Corporation, is all set to delight photography enthusiasts by showcasing its latest innovations as well as special promotions and activities at Photofair 2009, beginning tomorrow January 8 to January 11 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

At Photofair 2009, Nikon will display its latest flagship professional camera - the D3X. This camera is sure to become the talk of the town as it is another big leap in the field of Digital photography from Nikon. At the exhibition an exclusive D3X Zone has been created wherein visitors will be given a live demonstration of this larger than life product from Nikon's portfolio.
The photography extravaganza will also see Nikon put up a Free service camp where visitor's cameras will be serviced free of cost. It will be a dual benefit for visitors to experience the expertise of Nikon in Digital photography while getting his/her product serviced.
The D90, the world's first professional camera to provide D-Movie mode in a DSLR will be another major attraction for visitors at Photofair. To accentuate the unique features of this product Nikon has created a zone focusing on wedding photography. In this zone wedding photographers would be invited to get hands on experience of shooting models in ethic Hindu Bride and Groom with the D90 which is powered by the most effective photo-editing software Nikon's Capture NX.
At this exhibition, Nikon is also showcasing the power of Telephoto and PC-E Micro Nikkor lenses/lens in photography. Specific areas have been dedicated to these two kinds of Nikkor lenses/lens where props and models are placed for consumers to get a feel various angles and zooms.
In the 'Be a Professional Photographer' zone, Nikon offers the visitors the professional D-SLR range of cameras and a perfect set up to feel like a professional photographer. This offers a photo opportunity for every visitor to capture the exciting events at the fair.
Nikon's latest range of COOLPIX compact digital cameras will be on display too at the 'COOLPIX Zone', for the visitor to experience the technological excellence of Nikon's professional D-SLR cameras in a compact and stylish design.
Nikon's shoppers will enjoy this photo fair while getting a chance to take home some smiley squeegees by playing the 'Smile O Meter' game. All one has to do is pick up Nikon's COOLPIX (smile mode featured camera) and click as many smiling faces in the crowd as one can in a span of 30 seconds.
