Virtusa Appoints Samir Dhir as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Delivery


Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Thursday, March 18, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ: VRTU), a global IT services company that offers a broad spectrum of business consulting and outsourcing services, today announced the appointment of Samir Dhir as the company's Senior Vice President (SVP)& Head of Global Delivery.

Samir's previous assignment was with Wipro Technologies where he managed delivery with over 5000 people, managed their SAP Practice and ran the managed services business for Wipro's technology, media, transportation and services business. Prior to Wipro he held leadership positions with Avaya and Lucent Technologies in the UK.

Samir holds an engineering degree from IIT - Roorkee and an MBA from University of Warwick, UK.
